Alexandre is the head of the trademark practice of the firm and has over twenty years of professional experience in the field of intellectual property.

He counsels clients in different segments in trademark prosecution and portfolio management. He also provides advice on drafting and negotiating agreements and contracts involving intellectual property assets, including copyright industrial property rights and technology transfer.

Prior to joining magellan IP he was an associate of well-known Brazilian law firms, specialized in intellectual property.

As a litigator Alexandre acted as the coordinator of the litigation department of a renowned Brazilian intellectual property firm. Presently, in parallel to his work at magellan IP, he coordinates a boutique IP litigation practice at the law firm Altberg Consultoria.
